Stage 5: 3377 m to Chinatong bridge (2500 m)

4 hours, 200 meters ascending, 900 meters descending

Huge, thick spruce trees.	Forest with bamboo.
	Oak covered with moss and ferns.
	Ferns growing on oak trees.

Variety of tree species as seen from one of the many view points.

After a five hour hike we reach an exposed ridge with a sacred place. Tibetans like to leave their clothes or tea bowels here. It actually looks like a garbage pile.

From here, it is a very steep descent down to Chinatong Bridge (2500m).
